Mickey Yannich has owned and operated Century Productions, Inc. in Sayreville, New Jersey for over 35 years and now is in Florida as part of Seaspray Entertainment Inc..
Mickey produced hundreds of TV and radio commercials and corporate shows which include Lipton Tea, Mercedes-Benz, Goobers and Raisinettes, just to name a few. Many major artists have recorded at Mickey’s studio. He has participated with these artists on a creative level that proved beneficial to their project(s). One such artist, SLAVE, had an album that was #1 on all the R & B charts and #26 on the national charts (Billboard, Cash Box, and Record World – all trade papers at the time of the recording).
In the past several years, Mickey has produced a string of Classic Rock CDs. He worked in the studio with The Crests, The Del Vikings, The Tokens, Joey Dee and The Starlighters, The Trammps, The Delfonics, The Miracles, Harold Melvin and The Blue Notes. Mickey has also produced Christmas albums in the studio with the The Miracles, The Trammps, and Harold Melvin and The Blue Notes. All the above projects are being successfully licensed worldwide.
Jon Bon Jovi came to Mickey when it was time to work on his third album, Slippery When Wet, which is one of the biggest selling albums of all time. Century Productions has pre-production credits on Slippery When Wet and Jon listed Mickey first in his Hundred Heroes column for his work on the album. VH-1 came to Century Productions to interview Mickey for his input on the Slippery When Wet album at Jon’s request for their Ultimate Album series.
Mickey had the distinct honor of working with and producing Teddy Pendergrass’s comeback album, Again and Forever, which coincided with Teddy’s first concert appearance in eighteen years at the Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The album is being successfully licensed to record companies worldwide.
Mickey has currently produced a series of DVDs including The Stylistics, The Chi-Lites, Asleep at the Wheel, and Johnny Maestro & The Brooklyn Bridge. He’s ventured into high definition by producing the Blu-ray discs for The New Rascals featuring Gene Cornish and Dino Danelli, and The O’Jays 50th Anniversary.
